"Reiki," (ray-key) derived from the Japanese term "universal life energy," represents a natural healing system accessible to all, regardless of belief system. It complements conventional or alternative treatments, targeting mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual realms to reinstate equilibrium and well-being. The process of receiving Reiki is straightforward: the recipient remains fully clothed and relaxes on a bed, couch, or chair. Your therapist will ask you if you’d like a hands-on or hands-off treatment, both are equally as powerful. If hands-on, your therapist will place their hands gently in non-invasive positions on the body, channelling 'Ki' energy to the recipient. There's no massage or manipulation involved. Reiki can address the entire body or specific areas as needed. Attend your session with an open mind, you may feel a range of different sensations during your session, warmth, cold, tingling, emotions, all are welcomed, allow it to come.
